Cosatu has come out gun blazing and blamed media for biased reporting after it clashed with the DA during the march by DA to Cosatu's head quarters. Media reports had reported earlier that Cosatu was the only group that was throwing stones at DA marchers. Images distributed via social media prove otherwise.
It has now emerged that bricks had been loaded on a truck to supply DA marchers during the clash. “Cosatu was portrayed as beating the DA, which was not the case. Bricks
were loaded into a truck and used against our members,” Sidumo Dlamini
claimed at Cosatu's International Policy Conference in Kempton Park.
Cosatu's complaint is based on the fact that media gave access to DA only and refused to air Cosatu's position.
