New Police Commissioner Mangwashi Phiyega


Mangwashi Phiyeka is the newly appointed SA Police Commissioner. She is replacing Bheki Cele who was released from his duties by President Jacob Zuma on Tuesday.

Mangwashi Phiyeka is currently the chairperson of Presidential Review Committee on State Owned Enterprises. She is also the chairperson of Independent Commission on the Remuneration of Office Bearers. 

Phiyega  holds qualifications from various universities including the National University of Singapore, Wharton Business School, University of Wales and the University of Johannesburg.

She holds numberous qualifications including the following:

University of the North - 1981 - BA (Social Work)
 
University of Johannesburg - 1986 - BA Honours (Social Sciences)
 
University of Johannesburg - 1994 - MA (Social Sciences)
 
University of Wales - 1997 - Post graduate Diploma in Business Administration
 
Wharton Business School, USA - 1997 - Executive Business Leadership Programme
 
National University of Singapore - 1998 - Executive Management Programme.

Is the wl be an intake next year for saps and is the duration of the current intake wl be the same as it was said in the begining of the year
